Trout on your own fly

In August the famous large sea trout rise in the river Mörrum. In fact, the largest sea trout in the world was caught in Mörrum, with a weight of 18,36 kilos! Which fly to choose when trying to catch one of these giants is something that the fly tiers at Mörrum’s Kronolaxfiske have a good idea of. And they’d be glad to teach you all about fly patterns, fishing techniques and fishing spots.

Schedule:

Thursday: Check in at Mörrum’s Kronolaxfiske during the afternoon until 5pm.

Friday: After breakfast the fly tying starts with instructions from skilled tiers from ”Fiskeshopen” in Mörrum and Mörrum’s Kronolaxfiske. After lunch we’ll have a look at fishing spots and successful techniques. By the time darkness falls you should be informed of some good spots and hoping for awesome bites!

Saturday: The schedule is similar to Friday. 1-2 guides will be available during the fishing in the afternoon. If one wants, the fishing can continue until 2am in the morning. How nice to hit the sack after a day of fishing.

Sunday: Starts with breakfast. No fishing has been reserved this day, but should you wish to fish one more day and maybe book another overnight stay we’ll take care of this on the spot.

Included: Accommodation at Mörrum’s Kronolaxfiske, basic standard room 3 nights (Thu-Sun), fishing permits 2 days for pool 1-32 (Fri-Sat), fly tying incl. material and instructor 2 mornings (Fri-Sat), 1-2 guides two afternoons, 3 breakfasts (Fri-Sun), 2 lunches (Fri-Sat), 2 dinners (Fri-Sat).
